​Recognized as "Hampton Roads’ premiere children’s chorus," VCC is a choir faculty dedicated to coaching the voice, in addition to providing extraordinary concert alternatives. We are dedicated to a nondiscriminatory method and supply equal alternative for employment and employee development and enrollment of scholars and their advancement via the Chorus levels. We respect and worth numerous life experiences and heritages and work to ensure that all voices are valued and heard. We are also dedicated to reflecting these values through presentation of a various repertoire of music styles and heritage in our instructional program. Founded in 1992 by Carol Thomas Downing, The Virginia Children's Chorus provides an exciting and artistically complete program designed to develop each musical sensitivity and choral expertise.
